St. Urho is known for chasing the grasshoppers out of Finland to save the grapes for the wine. Every March, folks gather in Menahga Minnesota to celebrate the event. There is plenty of “tom foolery” and a good time is had by all. And for the Finnish, the festival takes on a special meaning.
